DASHCAM 

A dashboard camera (Dash Cam) is a specialized on-board surveillance camera that is designed to monitor and record driving incidents. Mounted to the windshield, the camera turns on automatically upon starting ignition, and actively records video footages with an auto-looping mechanism. It has real-time impact detection, whereupon sensing impact, the camera stores the incident footage in a secure location for later reviewing purposes. The footage can then be used as a form of supplementary evidence for insurance purposes, while protecting the driver against insurance frauds and hit-and-runs.

Will "Hard Wiring" to fuse box juice out the battery?

When you purchase a Dashcam, you need to find out if that product has "Battery Protection" function (Thinkware products have this function). If the product has this function, you don't need to worry about your battery. Dashcam will automatically shut off when your battery is weak. When your car is parked, your Dashcam will not be on 24/7. It will only turn on and records when there's movements near your car, or any sort of hard hits. 

Why does my Dashcam not record continuously in 'one big file'?

It is normal for Dashcams to 'not' record continuously in one big file. If one video corrupts, then the file with entire situation will be gone. Dashcams will record short time of period, continuously. So even if one file corrupts, you will still have remaining situation recorded.

Can I bring my own Dashcam for you to install?

Most definitely! You can bring your own Dashcam. But you must bring the "Hard wiring kit" that is made for your Dashcam's brand and model. 

When bringing used Dashcam, we cannot guarantee whether your Dashcam is working/not working until it is fully installed. We are not responsible for internally and externally damaged Dashcam.
