Window tinting is installing tinting film from inside of the car to make your windows look darker. It has different shades, grades, colours. The main purpose of window tinting is to prevent harmful UV rays from the sun. Another reason is to keep privacy, safety and security of your car.

Questions and Answers

"How can I get a Quote?"

The best way to get a quote is that if you can send us Year, Make and Model of your vehicle with giving us informations about which windows you wish to get it tinted.

For example, Windshield, Two front windows, Whole side windows, Whole side and back windows, etc. If you need to remove the old film on your window prior to new film installation, you also need to let us know. 

"How long does Window Tinting last?"

Manufacture warranty for XPEL PRIME and XPEL CS covers for lifetime. As long as you don't damage the film, film will last over 10 years.

"When can I open the windows after Installation?"

Window tinting film needs some time to completely stuck to vehicle's window. We recommend to keep the windows closed for at least 3-4 days. 

"How long does it take

to install Window Tinting"

Time depends on which windows you choose to get it tinted, but for a sedan with side and back window tinting will take about 3-4 hours to get it installed.

Is Window Tinting Legal in Ontario?

Ontario Window Tinting Law According to Law Enforcement and Highway

Act R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 73 (2) and H.8, s. 73 (3).


73 (1) No person shall drive a motor vehicle upon a highway,

(a) with any sign, poster or other non-transparent material or object placed on the windshield or on any window of such motor vehicle; or

(b) with any object placed in, hung on or attached to the motor vehicle,

in a manner that will obstruct the driver’s view of the highway or any intersecting highway. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 73 (1).

(2) No person shall drive a motor vehicle upon a highway where the surface of the windshield or of any window of the vehicle has been coated with any colour spray or other colour coating in such a manner as to obstruct the driver’s view of the highway or any intersecting highway. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 73 (2).

(3) No person shall drive on a highway a motor vehicle on which the surface of the windshield or of any window to the direct left or right of the driver’s seat has been coated with any coloured spray or other coloured or reflective material that substantially obscures the interior of the motor vehicle when viewed from outside the motor vehicle. (4) This section does not prevent the use of signs, markers or equipment required under this Act or the regulations. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 73 (4).

What to prepare before Window Tinting?

Please understand that any type of light or deep scratches that you couldn't see on bare window will be visible once you put a tinting film on. 


Please understand that you need drying time after window tinting installation. You cannot roll down the windows for 3-5 days.


Please make sure to remove your personal belongings 

prior to appointment date.
